Open the MCP tab
Start KubeLoop Desktop and open the MCP page in the sidebar.
MCP for AI agents
Let Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or VS Code drive KubeLoop over a local Model Context Protocol endpoint.
What it is
KubeLoop can expose its desktop control plane as a local MCP server (Streamable HTTP on 127.0.0.1). Tools cover connect/disconnect, discovery, Port Forward, Exchange, Mirror, Preview, and helper install.
Set up in three steps
Install into your client
Choose Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or VS Code, then click Install MCP server. This writes the user-scoped config and enables the local endpoint if needed.
Refresh the client
Restart or refresh MCP in that client so it picks up the new server.
Tips
You can also Copy config for the selected client. MCP is off by default until enabled or installed; it binds only to localhost. Bearer token auth is optional and off by default.

Connect or disconnect, list namespaces, Services, and Pods.
Network tools
Start and stop Port Forward, Exchange, Mirror, and Preview.
Helper & config
Check or install the privileged helper, and read the active sing-box config.
